Juvenile Step-Up ProgramThis accelerated program prepares students to return to their home school district upon being released from a juvenile institution. The following core courses are covered at an accelerated pace. Mathematics We have learned from past experience that students who are not re-integrated into their schools at the approximate level of their peers have a higher tendency to dropout than those students who have been prepared to return. The Juvenile Step-Up Program is geared to bring the academic skill levels of students returning from juvenile institutions up to a level where they can compete on an equal footing with their peers. The Juvenile Step-Up Program operates on a 90 day term. Sixty students are accepted each term. The program operates on a year-round basis.
